This sculpture was a gift from My Mister nearly 3 decades ago. It’s like a kaleidoscope, an ever changing perspective.
When he purchased it from a nearby art gallery he was unaware that it was the work of famed artist Marion Anderson, our neighbor, now still thriving at 101 years old. He just simply loved the sculpture.
Marion is the mother of Wendy Anderson Halperin, famed illustrator of children’s books and educator, and my dear friend. Wendy’s children have all grown up to be artists as well, notably Kale in fabric design and Lane in dance.
